The
Skagit Valley just an hours drive south of Vancouver is one of
the worlds largest tulip growing areas. We are planning a simple day drive down to Burlington WA and then will take advantage of the guided bus tours to see the fields in bloom. For those that know the area, it is full of craft shops and the like as well, and of course to add variety to the trip, we can take the scenic tour home by heading along the twisty back roads that lead to Chuchanut Drive and into Bellingham, or if you wish, up highway 20 and 9 to the border at Abbotsford. |
