Event History
The Annual BMW Harrison Fun Run has its origins with the start of the club back in April of 1998.
The original event was planned to see if there was enough demand for a local BMW owners and enthusiasts club.
The inaugural event was a qualified success. We got to meet lots of BMW Enthusiasts who even braved the drizzle for the drive to Harrison.
True to form, the BC weather changed as we drove, and by the time we got to Harrison it was quite decent.
Those gathered got to chat about their cars, had a wonderful buffet lunch, and started friendships and an active local BMW Club.

The Fun Run has been designated as an Annual event and has two purposes:
To promote membership awareness, and to celebrate the founding of the club.

So mark your calendars, and join us in May for the Annual BMW Harrison Fun Run and Birthday Celebrations. And true to the spirit of the event, invite a fellow BMW owner that is not yet a club member.

13th Annual Harrison Fun Run
Sunday May 30, 2010

In celebration of the founding of our club, we host the annual Harrison Fun Run.

The BMW Car Club of BC was founded in April of 1998, and our inaugural event was the Harrison Fun Run to see if there was enough enthusiasm for a local club in our area.
Well, what started as the efforts of 6 founding members and a few volunteers is now entering our 13th year.
Our club has grown from the initial 27 members that paid membership dues and joined the club at the first Harrison Fun Run in May of 1998 to over 430 active enthusiasts as we approach the 12th Fun Run.

We invite all enthusiasts, and in particular members from the BMW CCA PSR to consider joining us for a simple fun Sunday Drive and Brunch to help us celebrate the 13th anniversary of the founding of our club.
