Potluck Picnic in the Park  
   

We are planning a fun day for Sunday September 14th, 2003.

We'll start the day by meeting at Brentwood Mall, then take a short scenic drive to our destination which is Belcarra Regional Park for a Pot Luck Picnic and BBQ for Club Members.

A great opportunity to get together with fellow club members for an informal fun social day.

Meeting Time options
10:00 am for 10:30 departure Meet at Brentwood and join us for the drive to Belcarra

Noon on Meet up with the group at Belcarra at the main picnic shelter
 
   
To better coordinate the picnic and ensure that we have a varied supply of food, we'd encourage you to respond with what you may bring. Additionally we can plan ahead and arrange to have some food basics available for all with a small fee attached. This would be something like the Bavarian sausage BBQ we do for the Member Day and Concours events.
Pot luck food suggestions
  Salads, potoato salad, bean salad
  casserole dishes, buns, rolls
  desserts, cookies etc.

Belcarra Regional Park is a great destination spot. They have covered picnic shelters along with a barbecue pits. A great play area for kids, walking and nature trails, a nice expanse of grass, access to a bit of beach and a small pier.
And to top it all off, it is close and easily accessible to a large number of our members, and has a neat access road that makes it fun to get to the park.
