The 2nd Annual Yaletown Park & Pose Car Show is revving up. On Saturday August 10th you can make the day a total success by attending with your classic car or motorcycle. Yaletown is an area in downtown Vancouver that is well know for its trendy renovated warehouses with great pubs, restaurants and shops. A perfect backdrop for a show such as this. Both the main streets of Hamilton and Mainland Streets are blocked off to foot traffic only. Show cars will be side streets while motorcycles will be up on the old loading docks. Participants will receive a welcome package compliments of the local retailers. There will be an impressive array of prizes available. $7000 in total. Approximately $3500 for entries and $3500 available to the public. There will be trophies for the "Peoples Choice", for the "Exhibitors Choice" and hopefully for the "Mayors Choice".
The day offers fun for the whole family including all day entertainment, giant sidewalk sales, antiques and BBQ's and even a kids area with a petting zoo and pony rides. There is also a Farmer's Market, everything just steps away from the scenic Seawall on False Creek. We expect 15,000+ visitors this year. So we welcome you to join in the fun. Yaletown is a great area to wander around and we know you'll have a terrific day. Please fax or mail in your entry form and we'll date stamp it to make sure you get a spot.

Display your car along with up to 200 other eye popping classic, hotrod and muscle cars as well and exotic Euro cars.
Both Mainland and Hamilton Streets between Davie and Nelson will be barricaded off and filled with action. For starters expect a central stage with great live music featuring: The World Youth Rhythm Ensemble, Abba Cadabra, Faith & Desire, The Mac Pontiac Band
There will be belly dancers, fire dancers, and a dog costume contest. For the kids there is a farm animal petting zoo and free pony rides. There is even a circus, the Wormwood Bros. Traditional SideShow Circus. Think Coney Island in the 30's and you'll get the picture.

Some lucky person will win a brand new MINI Cooper 1 year lease from MINI Yaletown and another lucky person will win a penthouse weekend with all the trimmings at the new Opus Hotel.
