As you might know, the British Columbia Wine Industry now has become a producer of world-class wines, in many cases comparable to those made anywhere.
Thousands of international accolades have been garnered from the most prestigious wine journalists and wine judges in the world. It's the dawn of a new era for BC's wines.

We have arranged a wonderful three day tour of the South Okanagan Wine Industry exclusively for twenty wine-loving BMW CCBC members only, where you will meet winemakers and taste the very best wines ­ in the wineries where they are made. You will be there during the spring when things are relaxed and personnel have plenty of time to answer questions. Remember to bring your camera! You will dine at the wineries, and hopefully taste the new wines from the FABULOUS MONUMENTAL 2000 vintage as well.

The tour has been organized by Scott Gable and John Levine. John is a noted wine educator, journalist and tour leader based in Vancouver (led the last BMW CCBC tour). In all cases, the tastings will be organized with John's personal friends and contacts in the B.C. wine industry, so you have a guarantee of the very best there is to offer. Rooms, all with queen or king sized beds, have been reserved at the gorgeous Ramada Courtyard Inn, adjacent to the Penticton Golf & Country Club - and an air conditioned mini-bus will drive us around on Saturday and Sunday. That eliminates the drinking/driving problem until Monday, and gets us closer together to talk about what a great time we're having!
