Keeping Warm – BMWCCBC at the Vancouver Auto Show

It’s an experience known to any car enthusiast, one we’ve all had. You unexpectedly come across a car so fascinating, it completely captivates you. But how many times has it compelled you so much, you ‘zone in’ taking pictures and forget it’s pouring rain all over you? Or perhaps, it triggers a core memory (or three), so you find the owners and excitedly tell them all about it?

Such was the atmosphere at the BMW CCBC display at this year’s Elevate Vancouver Auto Show. A curated, members-only selection of Munich’s finest posed for the day on Jack Poole Plaza, giving a taste of how our members enjoy a sunny Sunday.

Well, perhaps this particular Sunday wasn’t quite that, as we had some of Vancouver’s signature weather; nonetheless, the enjoyment was fully there. On top of that, having our cars out on display allowed the club to connect with the general public like never before. The day was full of interested faces approaching our booth, asking to know more about us. We traded Instagram handles with a number of photographers, who were inspired enough to produce all the photos in this post (each photo is credited individually).

The overall vibes were enough to keep us warm. In spirit.
